{"id":52781222,"date":"2011-02-22T13:01:00","date_gmt":"2011-02-22T13:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cheapoair.com\/miles-away\/priority-club-updates-app-to-find-closest-airport-lounges\/"},"modified":"2011-02-22T13:01:00","modified_gmt":"2011-02-22T13:01:00","slug":"priority-club-updates-app-to-find-closest-airport-lounges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cheapoair.com\/miles-away\/priority-club-updates-app-to-find-closest-airport-lounges\/","title":{"rendered":"Priority Club Updates App to Find Closest Airport Lounges"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: center\">\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/miles-away\/wp-content\/uploads\/files\/2011\/2\/iphone1.jpg\" alt=\"Priority Club Updates Its App, IMG Cred: WikiMedia\" title=\"Priority Club Updates Its App, IMG Cred: WikiMedia\" width=\"450\" height=\"340\" align=\"middle\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<strong>Priority Club Updates Its App<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\nPriority Club, which provides its members with access to some 600 airport lounges around the world, has updated its free lounge-finder iPhone and iPad apps.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<br \/>\nWhat can be more frustrating than arriving in an unfamiliar airport, lugging your bags around, and trying to locate a lounge where you can fire up your laptop and grab something to eat away from the throngs?\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<br \/>\nPriority Club&rsquo;s apps have a Find Nearest Lounge feature, which use the iPhone and iPad GPS functionality to find the closest lounge in the Priority Club network.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<br \/>\nThe apps, which were enhanced earlier this month, now enable you to view images of the lounges, save your favorites and view your recent searches.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<br \/>\nBoth apps are offered via free download in the Apple iTunes store.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<br \/>\nHowever, the catch is that to get into the airport lounges once you&rsquo;ve found them, you need to be a member of Priority Club.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<br \/>\nThat&rsquo;s, of course, if you aren&rsquo;t otherwise qualified for entry by the airline&rsquo;s frequent flyer program.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<br \/>\nU.S. members of Priority Club&rsquo;s global program can pay a $99 annual fee to join, and then they pay $27 per visit to get into a lounge. You can bring a guest with you for an additional $27.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<br \/>\nPriority Club&rsquo;s iPhone and iPad apps were developed by Syndicated Methods, a California company.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<br \/>\nPriority Club says it expects to release lounge finder apps for Android and Blackberry devices within the next couple of months. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Priority Club Updates Its App Priority Club, which provides its members with access to some 600 airport lounges around the world, has updated its free lounge-finder iPhone and iPad apps.
