The largest of Orlando\u2019s Disney parks, Disney\u2019s Animal Kingdom incorporates the best features of zoos, thrilling attractions for every member of the family, and – of course – that famous Disney magic.<\/p>\n

Disney\u2019s Animal Kingdom boasts 1,700 animals from 250 different species.\u00a0 Numerous trails, exhibits, and treks take you into habitats of animals from around the globe on foot.\u00a0 If you are looking for a bit more adventure, ride an open sided safari vehicle right through the African Savanna on Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition.\u00a0 The safari trek is as close to a real one as you will find in Orlando and offers the chance to see giraffes, lions, rhinos, warthogs, and zebras as they roam the shared land with you.<\/p>\n

Much more than a zoo, Disney\u2019s Animal Kingdom offers fantastic family-friendly attractions.\u00a0 The crown jewel is Expedition Everest: a fast-paced, thrilling roller coaster ride in route to \u201cMt. Everest.\u201d\u00a0 Thrilling effects along the way take riders forward and backward, eventually whizzing past an unhappy Yeti at the peak.\u00a0 Cool off on a hot day by riding the Kali River Rapids through the Asian Rainforest.<\/p>\n

If your family loves dinosaurs, visit Dinoland U.S.A., located in the park.\u00a0 Primeval Whirl, a thrilling (and spinning) roller coaster offers big time thrills, and the ride, DINOSAUR, places riders back in time on a safari trek through the ages.\u00a0 Smaller guests will enjoy the TriceraTop Spin ride, a Dumbo-esque ride that takes little ones and their families flying high over the surroundings.\u00a0 In the Boneyard, kids can dig for fossils and get energy out while running through the play equipment.<\/p>\n

In addition to loads of animals and thrilling fun, Disney\u2019s Animal Kingdom features world-class theatrical entertainment.\u00a0 Festival of the Lion King<\/em> and Finding Nemo: The Musical<\/em> offer animal loving families the chance to watch 30-minute, full scale, live musical productions during their trip.\u00a0 It\u2019s Tough to be a Bug<\/em> features fun 3D, interactive surprises and is located inside the iconic Tree of Life.\u00a0 Live parades and mini-shows run throughout the day at the park.\u00a0 If you are in search for a live-animal show, check out \u201cFlights of Wonder,\u201d which features over 20 species of birds.<\/p>\n
