Use it to make your way to the first stop, The Original Farmers Market on the corner of 3rd and Fairfax. Located just south of West Hollywood, the Original Farmers Market first started in July 1934 when a dozen farmers began selling produce out of their trucks. The market is now one of LA\u2019s oldest and most well-known landmarks where residents and visitors alike shop for fresh produce, meats, and ready-to-eat snacks. There’s no charge for entry and parking at either of the market’s two lots is free for the first 90 minutes with a ticket validated from the market.<\/p>\n

Most of all this is a place to be at nightfall, where you can choose from a selection of restaurant patios and watch the world go by. If you’re not too tired — and given that this is L.A., the land of movie-make-believe — why not catch the latest blockbuster at Pacific’s Grove Stadium 14? After all, when in Rome…<\/p>\n

Pay Your Respects at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery<\/h2>\n

For all the celebrities roaming around LA, your only guarantee of actually spotting one is at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery<\/a>. Some of the biggest stars that ever worked at Paramount Pictures Studios rest here and maps are available detailing the celebrities’ final resting places. Most visitors describe the grounds as peaceful, serene, and well-kept with a knowledgeable and helpful staff. Note that the cemetery is located on Santa Monica Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood and parking can be tough in the area, but can be booked in advance online.<\/p>\n
