Airline Intends to Keeps Some Planes in The Air

Talks between the British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) and Virgin Atlantic which began earlier this week broke yesterday and questions still loom.
If an agreement isn’t met, Virgin Atlantic’s 750 flight crew would walk off the job on July 18th.
BALPA will have to provide the airline a warning of seven days before striking.
According to the report by Travel Weekly, the airline intends to service part of its schedule through a potential strike.

UPDATE 7/8 9:11 a.m.:

BALPA has lifted the potential strike and reached an agreement with management.
BALPA reported via Washington Post that it secured a pay offer Thursday from the airline.
The offer will be voted on in the upcoming weeks.
