Virgin Atlantic founder Richard Branson recently announced that the airline is seeking partnership options. He denies, however, any interest in selling the airline outright.
"It's very much been my baby for the last 26 years, so it'd be a bit like selling my daughter," said Branson.
However, the charismatic billionaire admits that if the airline wants to continue to be successful and competitive, it will need to form partnerships with bigger airlines.
Though such a move might mean Branson would sell some of his shares, he insists he would remain very much involved in company operations.
