I’m here in a coastal town called Mijas Costa. The beach is a brisk 10minute walk from where I’m staying. The streets are lined with orange trees. But don’t eat them because they are usually sour. The area is know for their locally grown aloe Vera which is a huge export for them. The streets are small and parking can be hard to find. Many locals ride on motor scooters and bikes. The vibe is very laid back beach town. I recommend Lorena Cafe for a quick coffee and snack break. The blocks are lined with cafes and tapas bars with outdoor seating. Open air wine bars are more common as u get closer to the beach. At the beach a boardwalk extends displaying waterfront cafes, restaurants and even a KFC. Most markets are closed in Sunday’s.
