Caspian Airlines (RV) is the national flag carrier of Iran, with its main base and headquarters at Mehrabad International Airport, Tehran. It offers regular flights to domestic as well as international destinations. It operates flights to important Iranian cities such as Bandar Abbas, Isfahan, Shiraz, Zahedan and Kish Island. International destinations cover Sulaimaniyah Iraq, Istanbul Turkey, Kiev Ukraine, Damascus Syria and Duai in the United Arab Emirates. Caspian Airlines' fleet of 7 (a mix of Tupolev 154M and MD82) in-service aircrafts flies to nearly 20 destinations in all, with as many as 50 scheduled flights flying in and out of Iran on a weekly basis. Caspian airline offers only one class of service and all aircrafts whether short medium or long haul are built in an all coach model with comfortable ergonomically designed plush seats. Food is complimentary aboard Caspian Airlines, the menu includes traditional Iranian kebabs as well as international cuisines, catering to the palettes of both locals as well as tourists.
Reading material for all ages and likes is available in the seat back pockets of all seats. Guests can choose from local publications and international editions of newspapers and magazines. A special in-flight magazine is also available that showcases the rich heritage and culture of the nation as well as gives useful information about various tourist places in the world, so you can plan your next travel destination while flying to your current one.
Caspian does not yet offer the facility of online check-in, online booking and seat selection is available. But due to security reasons, passengers are requested to arrive at the airport for check-in procedures.
