Founded in 1990, Aviacsa was a low cost airline of Mexico, headquartered in Mexico City International Airport in Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City, Mexico. Due to financial difficulties, Aviacsa ceased its operation on May 4, 2011. The airline had a fleet size of three aircrafts and served 8 destinations in Mexico and United States of America including Tapachula, Mexico City, Merida, Villahermosa and Cancun etc. As per the Department of Communications and Transportation (September 2008), Aviacsa ranked to be the seventh largest Mexican Airline in domestic and international flights.
