| International Travelers - Vaccinations
|
|
General Health Visitors arriving in South Africa from infected areas require a yellow fever vaccination certificate. Due to malaria risk in the low-lying areas of the Northern Province and Mpumalanga (including the Kruger National Park) and northeastern KwaZulu Natal, adequate precautions are advised while travelling to those areas. Always use bottled water. Although medical facilities are good in South Africa, medical insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers.
