West Palm Beach is home to several world class museums.
Flagler Museum: also known as Whitehall is a 55-room mansion and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was designed in the Beaux Art style; meant to rival the extravagant mansions in Newport, Rhode Island. The mansion is built around a large open-air central courtyard and is modeled after palaces in Spain and Italy.
Norton Museum of Art: is an art museum with a collection that includes over 5,000 works, with emphasis in European, American and Chinese art, as well as contemporary art and photography. The newly renovated museum now features 14 new galleries, a glass ceiling installation commissioned from Dale Chihuly, a cantilevered spiral staircase and three-story atrium designed to evoke the museum's art.

Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts: The center opened in 1992 and has risen to become one of the premier performing arts centers in the Southeast with a growing national and international reputation. Lion Country Safari: Founded in 1967, Lion Country Safari is a drive-through safari park and claims to be the first "cage less zoo" in the US. Visitors can drive thorough the park and view animals while listening to a recorded narration. The area is home to Safari World, a theme park with some zoo exhibits and other things such as a Ferris wheel, a petting zoo, a small water park and a giraffe feeding exhibit.
Antique Row: is a shopping district on the south side of the city. The area is home to over 45 antique shops offering a selection of 17th to 20th century antiques, fine and decorative arts, deco and modern furnishings. Within walking distance of an array of quality antique shops, are few restaurants and a boutique hotel. Several magazines have described the area as the "antique design center" of Florida.
