UA Museum of The North: The Museum of The North, one of Alaska’s most beloved museums, set amidst the awesome Alaskan landscape and river. Its white exterior and architectural design resembles the shapes of an iceberg. Other than its beauty, this museum offers a large selection of exhibitions from which you can explore – from the Gallery of Alaska – which highlights the distinct features the five geographic regions of Alaska – to The Places Where You Go to Listen which features John Luther Adams light and sound show.

In addition to the pleasant weather during the summer months, visitors come all over the world to witness the Northern Lights and the midnight sun that begins with the summer solstice.
