Lloyd Aero Boliviano Flights

Lloyd Aereo Boliviano was the national airline of Bolivia until it discontinued operations in 2007, owing to financial difficulties. In 2009, the airline restarted operations with a commercial alliance with Aerosur. Currently, the airline provides passenger and cargo services within Bolivia and also to international destinations. Lloyd Aereo Boliviano main base is Jorge Wilstermann International Airport, Cochabamba.

Established on September 15, 1925, Lloyd Aereo Boliviano started operations on 23 September 1925. The airline first flew internationally in July 1930, between Corumba, Brazil and Rio de Janeiro. Soon the airline emerged as South America's second commercial airline and increased their flights to the Brazilian destinations. In 1969, Lloyd Aereo Boliviano acquired its first Boeing 727. But in 1994, Lloyd Aereo Boliviano ran into economic trouble and was subsequently suspended by the Bolivian government on 30 March 2007.
