Complimentary Lounge Access: Passengers are invited to the JAL First Class or Sakura lounges including
at JAL’s main international hubs. At Narita and Haneda airports, the JAL First Class
lounge includes full dining with hot and cold menus, as well as relaxation areas,
business centers, private showers, and massage chairs. At Narita, personal massages
are also available with advanced reservations.
Onboard: Leading-edge seat products,including the JAL SUITE in First Class, are highlights in the cabin’s interior.
The JAL SUITE, available on continental U.S. routes, is made from a range of the
latest composite materials providing a sophisticated finish. Upholstered in exceptionally
comfortable leather with 5-inch wide, thickly padded armrests, the seat is reminiscent
of a traditional lounge chair and convenient one-touch buttons allow for custom
positioning. When the seat is converted into a 180-degree flat bed, the armrests
concurrently retract providing additional width. The leather ottoman, which doubles
as guest seating, completes the bed. For added comfort, a custom-fitted Tempur ®
mattress is placed atop by the cabin crew along with a down comforter and choice
of pillow. The JAL SUITE also boasts a large 19-inch personal monitor and the experience
is enhanced further with high performance, noise-cancelling BOSE® headphones.
Amenities: Guests are offered two types of amenity kits (male or female), which include special
moisture masks and quality Shiseido products in addition to toothbrush/ paste, an
eyemask, earplugs and comb. Slippers and relax wear are also offered to each guest.
Priority Baggage: JAL First Class guests are the first to deplane and their baggage
is offloaded as priority.

Onboard: Seats in JAL Executive Class – Seasons on most continental U.S. routes have been redesigned
for added comfort, privacy and functionality. The JAL SHELL FLAT NEO is softer than
the original version and is made with slip-proof upholstery. The seat’s controls
have also been repositioned for easier access and visibility. Large, 15.4-inch TV
monitors have also been incorporated as well as additional storage and larger privacy
panels.
Amenities: Amenities offered to Executive Class guests include toothbrush/paste,
eye and moisture masks, earplugs and a comb. Slippers are also offered, and guests
may ask for a cardigan for a more relaxed journey.
JAL Premium Economy is located in its own exclusive cabin area, and features the
award-winning JAL Sky Shell Seat with 20% more legroom than standard economy. The
seat’s clever shell–shaped slide down design ensures that each passenger’s private
space is maintained throughout the flight, undisturbed even when the seat in front
is reclined. For added comfort, the seat offers a footrest and a fully adjustable
headrest. In addition to complimentary access to JAL lounges prior to travel, JAL
Premium Economy customers also receive the same inflight amenities that are offered
to JAL’s business class customers including eye masks, slippers and toothbrush sets.
New Economy Class seats have also been installed on the airline’s 777-300ER aircraft
and boast a “Hammock Headrest” for added comfort. In addition, seatbacks are fitted
with 9-inch personal TV screens for customers to enjoy audio-visual-on-demand (AVOD)
inflight entertainment.
MENUS: JAL First Class and Executive Class – Seasons menus are carefully considered
and their Japanese menus use the finest ingredients and subtly infused seasonal
flavors to create a perfect balance. Innovative Western dishes carefully blend prepared
ingredients with specially selected condiments.
Meals are accompanied by complimentary
award-winning wines as well as traditional sakes. Also, quite unique to the industry,
Japan Airlines has over a thousand cabin crew that have voluntarily become qualified
members of the Japan Sommeliers’ Association.
MAGIC III Entertainment (continental U.S./Canada) JAL’s state-of-the-art audio-visual-on-demand (AVOD) inflight entertainment
system (MAGIC III version) is available in all four classes of service offering
a selection of 132 movie, music, video and game channels. AVOD gives passengers
the freedom to start, stop, fast forward or rewind programs of their choice.
