Air Comet Flights

Among the top world-class carriers, Air Plus Comet (A7) was an airline based in Madrid, Spain. With scheduled long-hauled flights from Madrid to 13 destinations, it had flown passengers in Central America, South America and the European region. Air Plus Comet worked in alliance with renowned airlines like AeroSur and operated from Terminal 1 at Madrid Barajas Airport as its main hub.

Founded in December 23, 1996, Air Plus Comet started operations from March 01, 1997 and had a fleet of 12 (+ 74 orders) aircrafts. It was founded when Oasis Airline closed down in December 11, 1996 where a considerable part of their staff along with an Airbus A310 formed the basis of its creation. Wholly owned by Grupo Marsans, it mainly operated long-hauled charter flights to destinations as far as the Caribbean. The airline ceased operations from December 21, 2009.
