Me and my husband went on this trip to Kailua Kona, Big Island, to have some time for our selfs. When we went we had the time of our lives there. Drove around the whole Island seen the beauty of paradise,views were unreal. Iam a local in the hawaiian Islands ,live on the island of Maui (Maui no ka oi) alot of beauty here also, but what Big Island has to offer is only availble in the Big Island. I LOVED it so much that my famiy and I are looking into moving there..Along with family members we have up there just made it even better. Showed us more beauty that only the true local residents knows about..Love love love loved it. going back realy soon.

The Big Island - Hawi'i, in three days

Even with only three days on the big island, I was able to experience some of the many aspects of the island. We went snorkeling, hiked to ancient Hawaiian petro glyphs, shopped in the market, saw volcanoes and craters at Volcano National Park, and saw spectacular scenery at almost every turn. The food was fabulous, great breakfasts, and interesting Hawaiian food. We saw all kinds of terrain and ecosystems - coffee farms, lava fields, lush forests, and dry savannah-type forests. It would have been nice to spend more time at one of the beautiful beaches, but with only three days, there was too much to do to spend many hours in one place.
