Anchoragites are FRIENDLY. Spontaneous conversation, often very interesting, is a social norm here. One of the many pleasures of the trip. If your idea of nightlife is frontier friendliness combining saloon atmosphere with great eating, this is the place.

The flight from Maui to anchorage was a nice one. I ended up giving medical attention to a lady who was having diabetic problems on the air plane. The staff was wonderful an most helpful. I will use Alaska air again in the future.

My trip was fine. The flight attendance seem to be burned out because of the 4 planes I was on I only had 1 that was attentive and actually smiled. The others did there job but NOT very friendly.

The flights were great to and from Alaska...no problems. The high school graduation of our grandson was delightful.

Alaska is a beautiful place, the people are warm and friendly. If you love nature and the outdoors you will be in paradise.

April is the least beautiful time to visit Alaska. But there's never a bad time to be in Alaska. We were able to enjoy the snow, do some snow machining, but also enjoy the nice, mild weather.

Everyone should see Alaska during the winter at least once. The sites are amazing. The only trouble we had was the hotel (Extended Stay Delux Downtown Anchorage) I would not recommend this hotel to anyone,

Flew to Anchorage to attend the Rondy and the Iditarod. Everything was easy at the airport. The car rental was right there handy and everyone was very helpful and friendly. When it was time to return the rental car I was apprehensive about getting all our luggage unloaded and finding where we needed to drop the rental car off at. No problem, there was plenty of signs that guided you on just where to go. It is definitely a easy come easy go airport!

I stayed in Anchorage for one night when I flew into Alaska. The first thing I noticed is the friendly people. There definitely was no shortage of down to earth folks willing to help. I thought for a bigger city, anchorage was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The hotel was affordable and quaint. I wanted to stay longer!
