From Alanta to Macon

In Alanta I was suppose to get a flight to Macon and they didn't transfer my bags, had to take a shuttle to Macon after paying extra for that. The guy at the small plane told me they don't transfer bags onto that flight, but no one told me and so I paid roundtrip for a flight that I never took. That sucks. If someone had told me that I needed to gather my bags okay, no one did. I doubt I'll use this service again as it was close to $150.00 I paid for and didn't use. The guy told me it wasn't their fAult it was TransAir. None the less I went for a funeral and was all ready upset with the whole trip and to have this happen.

I landed in Lyon, France and spent 2 weeks in a village close to the city of Macon. This vallenous region of France is littered with castles and natural history sites.
Some of the spots I recommend are a stroll along the Saone River banks in the center of Macon where you can see swans, tug boats, rowers, and skiers, and feel the fresh breeze through the tall trees. There are many wine museums, old farms, churches, and parks to visit as well, just get your hands on a visitors guide leaflet.
Or even just driving around the small roads you can find hidden treasures and spectacular views.
