I Love Playa El Tunco!

We found this beach town to be very safe. The rooms were plain but provided what we needed, air conditioning and a pool! We paid $40 a night for a family of 5 with a shared bathroom and $30 a night for 3 of us with our own bathroom. The food is very inexpensive, also. A family of 5 can eat on $20 a night including the tip! We rode the bus to La Libertad for .25. The boys really enjoyed the surf! They rented boards there for $10 or less a day. A great time for all! You can buy souvenirs from the locals!

Great place to visit, but there was tons of traffic. Its a huge change from where I came from. However, there are so many amazing things to see in this town.
