I paid an additional $25.00 for a seat only to be told as I was about to board the plane that there was no overhead storage left. I just purchased a small travel case for this trip. Upon arriving to the Austin Airport and retriving my suit case it was all dirty.
When getting on the plane to depart Auston, I was told to give my suitcase to a flight attendant to place it overhead 5 rows from my seat where I again had paid an additional $25.00 for my select seat. I watched as 4 people carried on larger than required suitcases on board. This is the reason I had to worry about how I was going to get my travel bag both comming and going. People at the airport do not appear to be too concerned about suitcase size. If the case is obviously larger than required they will make the owner put in the sizer. I was not impressed with the way this was handled. Passengers also bring on two travel bags close to the same size instead of one case and one carry on like a computer bag size, to place at their feet under the seat in front of them. |
