Skyking Airlines Alternatives with CheapOair

Based out of Turks and Caicos Islands, TCI Skyking was a passenger airline with its main hub in Providenciales International Airport. The secondary hub was Grand Turk International Airport. The brainchild of two entrepreneurs Harold Charles and John Shearer from the Turks and Caicos Islands, the airline’s maiden flight took off in January, 1995. Although it has been in existence since 1994, , TCI Skyking remained just a small charter airline with two miniature piston-engine planes.

It flew to 8 destinations including Puerto Plata, Antiago de los Caballeros, Cap-Haïtien, Kingston, Providenciales and South Caicos. The airline flew passengers to these popular destinations with an enviable fleet. Of its 9 airplanes at the time of merging also included 4 Beechcraft 1900. Finally, the airline merged with Air Turks and Caicos shedding its original name TCI Skyking.
