On April 13, 2010, parent company Republic Airways Holdings announced that Midwest Airlines and Frontier Airlines will be merged and in the fall of 2011 Midwest Airlines was merged with Frontier Airlines. Though Midwest Airlines was merged with Frontier but its signature services like the all business class seating arrangement and their famous fresh-baked chocolate-chip cookies were incorporated into the Frontier brand.

Founded in 1948 as K-C Aviation and in June 11, 1984 changed its name to Frontier Express. In 2002, the airline again changed its name to Midwest Airlines. Headquartered in Oak Creek, Wisconsin the airline provided scheduled flight services to top destinations including Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Orlando, just the name a few.
