Eurofly (GJ) was a private airline company operating chiefly out of Milan, Italy. At one point of time during its operational life span it was termed as the leading carrier in the leisure flight market of Italy. Catering to the zealous travelling tastes of Italians, Eurofly serviced point to point, international and medium to long haul flights across Asia, Africa and America. It had a fleet of 12 in-service Airbuses all of an average fleet age 6 years. Eurofly was acquired by a company named "Meridiana" on 28th February 2010, and together the merger created Italy's second largest airline. Though the aircrafts maintained the original livery and logo for some time, Eurofly's logo and IG code has now been replaced by that of Meridiana.
