Cubana de Avacion or as it is commonly known, Cubana Airlines (CU) is one of the earliest airlines to start operations in Latin America(s). It is also the founder and current member of IATA (International Air Transport Association). It has its headquarters in Havana, Cuba and has its main hub located at the Jose Marti International Airport in Havana, Cuba. Antonio Maceo Aiport, Varadero, Santiago, Hologuin, Frank Pais, Juan Gualberto and Gomez Airport are the chief focus airports of Cubana. It is a major airline operator with a distinct mission stated as a carrier transporting passengers and cargo, reaching profitability of action through safety and time-bound customer service. Cubana operates a fleet of 15 aircrafts to over 20 destinations in Europe, Caribbean countries, Northern, Central and Southern America and also domestically.
Classes of Service
Cubana Airlines offers two distinct classes of service: Economy Class and the Business Class.
The Economy class: The economy class offers comfortable seats with sufficient leg space and reclining backs. You can also choose from a collection of newspapers, magazines and other comforts of a journey. Healthy meals are served at affordable prices.
The Business Class: The Club Tropical check at Cubana Airlines entitles the passenger to an exclusive check-in and baggage drop counter and a VIP lounge for departure waiting. On-board amenities include a personal bag with select toiletries and spacious seating. To make your trip further comfortable a welcome cocktail is served upon arrival at the aircraft along with a select gourmet menu.
In addition class specific comfort services, Cubana Airlines also offers Cuban and foreign products for sale aboard the aircraft, from renowned firms at reasonable prices. The products are valued in American dollars, but for the convenience of all flyers, an equivalence list is provided if you wish to make the purchase with another currency.
Special assistance is provided to people with needs or disabilities, Customer service liasons, wheelchair assistants etc.
People traveling with infants are charged just 10% of the adult fare, and upon special request during the time of reservation furthermore requirements like special foods, baby baskets or any other form of special assistance can be arranged.
If due to overriding reasons a customer cannot travel on the specified date, the customers are urged to apply to the nearest Cubana's sales office. You can file for the refund of even the non refundable part of your ticket if it is completely unused and if the reasons for not traveling are found genuine.
