Founded in 1969 as Société Antillaise de Transport Aérien/Air Guadeloupe, Air Caraibes (TX) has its main hub at the Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport. Headquartered in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe, the airline offers scheduled passenger services and charter flights to around 13 islands in the West Indies. Air Caraibes has codeshare agreements with LIAT.
